• Fertilizer and Soil Health Summit (AFSH) 2024: In May 2024, IITA played a pivotal role in the African Fertilizer and Soil Health Summit held in Nairobi. This landmark event saw the endorsement of the African Union’s 10-Year Action Plan and the Soil Initiative for Africa. IITA’s expertise significantly contributed to the discussions and strategies aimed at tackling soil degradation and fertilizer challenges, enhancing soil health, and boosting agricultural productivity.
