Excitingly, the episode also features Arabinda Kumar Padhee, Principal Secretary at the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment from the Government of Odisha. Speaking from the launch of India’s National Policies and Strategies initiative report in late January Padhee shared his expertise on the value of prioritizing the implementation of policy frameworks with a climate-resilient food systems approach.

Find out how India can contend with its challenges.

Episode two of Policy Pathways provides you with in-depth insight into the challenges facing researchers and policymakers in a country where policy coherence is extremely complex. The intersectionality of issues surrounding climate variability, policy convergence, and barriers to social inclusion make India’s National Policies and Strategies Initiative report a timely examination of the impact of policy on socio-economic development.

Join us for Policy Pathways Episode two as we uncover the policy solutions that can help advance India’s policy coherence landscape. Find episodes one and two by visiting the Policy Pathways podcast page.
