20 Years of Impact: HarvestPlus 2023 Annual Report

Last year, HarvestPlus celebrated its 20th anniversary and witnessed significant progress in the scaling of biofortification. 

In a world where three billion people cannot afford a healthy diet, HarvestPlus is making a meaningful contribution in providing healthy and affordable nutritious foods to those who need it the most. By the end of 2023, over 330 million people were eating biofortified food, including 103 million who ate what they grew on their farms. Additionally, biofortified food available in markets was enough to feed an estimated 227 million people.
