This year’s World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS) 2024 will be hosted by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) in New Delhi from 7-9 February.
This year’s theme, “Leadership for Sustainable Development and Climate Justice,” highlights the need for inclusive, resilient, and innovative leadership in today’s interconnected world.
WSDS 2024: A Platform for Change
WSDS 2024 is a convergence of global leaders from government, business, academia, and civil society, all committed to sustainable development and climate justice. The Summit will feature discussions on key topics like sustainable integration, resilience, energy solutions, and climate action.
Under the Act4Earth initiative, WSDS 2024 emphasizes actionable commitments for a sustainable future. TERI spearheads this initiative, demonstrating its dedication to facilitating meaningful dialogue and strategies for sustainable development.
CGIAR Participation
CGIAR’s Regional Director, South Asia, Temina Lalani-Shariff will participate in the leadership panel titled “Protecting Nature and Ecosystems – Towards Integrated Approaches” at the Stein Auditorium on February 8, from 6 to 7 pm.
