Hosted by Beijing’s municipal government, the inaugural World Agrifood Innovation (WAFI) Conference, promoting global dialogue in agrifood science and technology, will be held in Pinggu District, Beijing, from 2-4 November, 2023.
Hosted by the city’s municipal government and organized by several key stakeholders, including China Agricultural University and CGIAR, the event centers on the theme “Food Security & Future Agrifood.” It aims to foster international exchanges, stimulate discussions on the latest agrifood innovations, and promote industry-university collaborations.
The conference comprises a main forum, four thematic forums—including ones for university presidents and entrepreneurs—and the World Agrifood Science and Tech Expo. Parallel and sub-forums will cover areas such as smart agrifood, bio breeding, and sustainable development. International attendees, from scientists to students, are invited to contribute and collaborate.
