Nourish the dialogue: Investing in nutrition and diets as significant determinants of health

In a world where over 3.1 billion people cannot afford a healthy diet, the challenges of malnutrition continue to underpin critical public health issues, including diet-related noncommunicable diseases, undernutrition, and obesity. The global state of nutrition has deteriorated further due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, rising food prices, conflicts, and climate-induced extreme weather events.

In response to these pressing issues, and following the 2024 Health Financing Forum, the “Nourish the Dialogue: Investing in Nutrition and Diets as Significant Determinants of Health” event will bring together experts in nutrition and climate to discuss the crucial role of healthy diets and explore proven solutions for improving dietary standards in low- and middle-income countries.
