The 11th Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (APFSD) is scheduled for February 20–23, 2024, and will be hosted at the United Nations Conference Center in Bangkok, Thailand.

The event serves as a vital intergovernmental platform to foster regional cooperation on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development

This year’s theme focuses on “Reinforcing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and eradicating poverty in times of multiple crises,” aiming to deliver sustainable, resilient, and innovative solutions across Asia and the Pacific.

The APFSD brings together UN bodies, member states, civil society, and other stakeholders to review progress, share best practices, and inform the 2024 High-level Political Forum in New York, especially regarding the advancements in SDGs 1, 2, 13, 16, and 17. It supports the presentation of voluntary national reviews and plays a crucial role in shaping sustainable development efforts in the region amidst ongoing global challenges.
