Research activities: Evidence, decisions, and scaling
Generating and consolidating evidence, models and tools to support public and private decision-making for a sustainable and inclusive livestock sector. This includes prioritizing innovations that make explicit trade-offs in terms of productivity, profitability, gender and social equity, and environmental outcomes.
It also means conducting scaling readiness exercises to guide stakeholder engagement and inform on-the-ground activities, researching policymaking processes to identifying how public and private actors can work together to support scaling, and strengthening the modeling component of national livestock master plans.
