Research activities: Enabling sustainable production of nutritious foods in urban zones
Enabling the efficient and equitable production of nutrient-dense foods in urban and peri-urban environments can make an important contribution to increasing access to safe and nutritious food for the urban poor. CGIAR researchers are working with local producers, the majority of whom are women and youth, and national research partners to identify, adapt, pilot and scale technologies and institutional innovations.
