Research activities: Improving integrated pest and disease management

Integrated approaches are critical to protect smallholders’ food and feed security and livelihoods. The Initiative is focused on plant health threats with high economic, environmental, and biodiversity impacts, with a particular emphasis on emerging and invasive transboundary pests and diseases. Identifying potential synergies with other CGIAR Initiatives synergizes innovations with proven or potential impact.
