Research activities: Strengthening the global system

This area of work focuses on promoting mutually supportive roles for CGIAR and its national partners to improve the function and scope of the global system, including through co-developing training curricula, capacity strengthening and joint projects, and boosting the development of new global initiatives such as the Global Plant Cryopreservation Initiative and the GreenPass System for the safe international exchange of germplasm.
