He has actively worked with the Audit, Risk and Finance Committee for over past ten years in many different organizations. He believes in group consensus, achieving group objectives by working together in difficult situations.
He worked in organizations like World Bank Group, QP, ENEC, NS Health, ERCB, PWC etc. in countries like USA/Canada/ Middle and Far East, South Asia, North Africa and both West and Eastern Europe. He loves to travel and enjoys respectfully interacting with people of diverse cultures.
He works for Nova Scotia Health in Canada and likes to see the effect of nutrition/food security on health care system for the people around globe.
He is a CPA in both Canada and the USA, holds an active Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) license in Canada, and has an MBA from the UK and a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from India..
He has a lovely family; daughter is pursuing MD in Canada and son is an office of Government of Ontario as a JD. Amit expects to contribute values to the strategies and objectives of CGIAR, one of the world’s leading research organizations on food security and sustainability.
