CGIAR at TICAD IV, Yokohama, Japan, May 28-30, 2008
The Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD) was launched by Japan in the early 90s to refocus international attention on the importance and urgency of African development issues. Now convening a fourth session May 28-30, 2008, TICAD has become a forum for high-level policy dialogue between African leaders and development partners. Since its inception, TICAD has provided fundamental and comprehensive policy and guideline on African development.
