The Consortium of Centers is a new legal entity that was established to lead, coordinate and support Center research. Toward this end, it is guiding the formulation of the CGIAR's Strategy and Results Framework together with a portfolio CGIAR Research Programs. As the counterpart of the CGIAR Fund, the Consortium implements these programs through Centers and their partners, based on performance agreements between the Consortium and Fund.
